Queijo produzido com leite de ovelha cru, sal e cardo. 

Deve ser servido à temperatura ambiente (Retirar do frigorífico 30 minutos antes de consumir, no Verão. No Inverno, retirar do frio 2 horas antes);
Acompanhar com pão caseiro e um bom vinho tinto da Região;

  • For over 20 years, Fernando & Simões – Queijaria Artesanal, Lda, a family company, based in Quinta do Anjo, produces Queijo de Azeitão DOP  (Azeitão cheese DOP).

    Queijo de Azeitão DOP is a traditional product, able to comply with the most stringent food safety standards and at the same time be recognized as a gourmet product.

    Awards won by Azeitão Cheese DOP Simões: Great Taste 2013 with 2 stars; Bronze at the World Cheese Awards 2013; Gold Medal 2013 and Gold Medal in 2015 in the National Competition of Traditional Portuguese Cheeses; a gold star "Superior Taste Award 2015" and 2 gold stars "Superior Taste Award 2018"  at the International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi).

  • It should be served at room temperature (in summer, remove it from the fridge 30 minutes before consuming, in winter remove 2 h before). Serve with good bread and a fine red wine from Palmela region.
