With the motto "Experiencing nature and country life" and with a rustic and welcoming environment surrounded by magnificent landscapes, where many reasons abound for a walk in the International Tagus Nature Park, Casa dos Xarês is a haven for those looking for tranquillity.

Its logo represents two olive tree leaves and one olive, because the region is rich in olive oil. The X alludes to Xarês (the family name probably from xara a rockrose) and of shale, stone abundant in the region.

It has 6 themed rooms, named after rivers and streams of the region, decorated with details related to nature, hunting, fishing and mountain biking. Two of the rooms are in a house adapted for people with reduced mobility, including a fully equipped kitchenette for those who want to cook their own meals.

The reception is also a store with regional and handmade products made by the owners itself or by partners. The leisure and recreational areas include a dining and living room with a games table, a large plasma TV and a barbecue area. It is planned the opening of a pool during the 2018 summer season.
