This is a project that values the culture of Chestnut trees and what comes from it, as well as other regional products.
The origin of the name, Vale da Aramenha (Aramenha valley), is due to the geographic area where the estate is and where one of Marvão area’s greatest riches is: the chestnut tree.
It has a range of products, based on PDO Marvão - Portalegre Chestnut, that are Natural.PT: dehydrated PDO Marvão chestnut; PDO chestnut flour; PDO chestnut “farinheira” (a chorizo); apple and PDO chestnut jam; and PDO chestnuts in wine syrup.
