PÃO BIO (Bio Bread) makes artisan bread using natural fermentation, cooked in loaf wooden pans and with flours from organic farming and free of dyes, preservatives or products of animal origin. It uses artisanal sea salt produced in Sapal de Castro Marim Nature Reserve (in Algarve) and other tasty ingredients, such as seeds (sesame, sunflower, flaxseed and chia), extra virgin olive oil, olives, sultanas and cinnamon. All these ingredients enhance the taste and texture of Pão Bio. Natural yeast are also of major importance in flavoring bread, enriching it in nutrients, speeding up its digestion and keeping it fresh for a longer period.
The organic breads of: rice (gluten-free); rye with seeds; rye with carob; spelt with seeds; spelt with olives; spelt with sultanas and cinnamon; khorasan kamut®; mixture (spelt and rye); and quinoa are Natural.PT. Organic breads certified by Sativa (PT-BIO-03).
