In “Moinho da Cova”, TerriuS shares the space with the Cultural and Environmental Interpretation Centre of Moinho da Cova, which is located in a former watermill next to the river beach of Sever River, in Portagem village, in the Municipality of Marvão (Alentejo). The reconversion of this old mill into an environmental and cultural interpretation equipment, aims to support tourism, culture and local traditions, allows the reproduction in an interactive way of a centuries-old and highly important activity for the region - the grinding – after all Alentejo was the Portugal’s granary!

The building has two floors, the former mill downstairs and the miller's house on the top floor. Nowadays the lower floor hosts a permanent exhibition, equipped with modern technology, allowing "young and old" interactively - through touch screens, videos and objects – get to know and experience the past, helping them to better understand the history and the day-to-day of a grain mill with a few hundred years! In the first floor you can find a beautiful shop with traditional and gourmet products.

Among TerriuS products are dehydrated wild mushrooms (Ceps Porcini, Black Trumpet, Morel and Senderilla...) or as flours and snacks; certified fruits such as PDO Marvão Chestnut and PGI “Bravo de Esmolfe” apple or the acorn are commercialized as flours or as dehydrated products and vegetables such as Wild thistles, Trigueiros Asparagus, natural roasted Piquillo Pepper and dried Tomato in olive oil or canned without preserves.
