Monte da Morena is located in Serpa, county whose territory is included in Guadiana Valley Nature Park. The estate is about 3 km from city centre and about 4 km from the great river of the south, the Guadiana. With its vast historical and architectural heritage, the White City justifies a visit either by a refreshing walk or by car. In the city and throughout Serpa county, the gastronomy of the region presents to the visitor its dishes and regional sweets enriched by the flavors of local products and by the aromas of their seasonings. With all its beauty, colors and fragrances, the countryside is transformed according to the season and invites to a walk to the riverside. There the silence of water, fauna and flora prevail.

Monte da Morena resulted from the restoration of an old house originally built to support farming, while preserving traditional architectonic features and enhancing the original construction elements. It has five bedrooms and one apartment with two bedrooms. All accommodations are equipped with TV and air-conditioning, but not needed thanks to the materials used in construction. Guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming-pool, game room with a snooker table or internet connection in the common areas. Watched from the porch, sunset is a moment of serenity, for experiencing the smells and sounds of the land ... the sounds of silence.
