ZêzereTrek, a tour operator company, was founded in 2015 aiming to provide a distinctive approach to Tourism activities, basing its offer on two aspects: customized services; and integration of original elements.

Having its headquarters in Vila de Rei (the Geodesic Centre of Portugal), ZêzereTrek operates in the area of Zêzere river and Castelo do Bode dam, as well as in Serra da Estrela and International Tagus Nature Parks, areas of high environmental and cultural value. ZêzereTrek offers direct experiences with these rural and natural way of life, providing to the customers participation in traditional tasks involving local people and / or carrying out activities in nature, from interpretive trails to survival experiences in the wild.

It is integrated in the network of Schist Villages, sharing the philosophy of promoting the development of this territory, having been also a partner of the Schist Villages.
