Since 2011, Casa da Baía (House of the Bay) - Tourism Promotion Centre is on a building from the first half of the eighteenth century and classified as Municipal Heritage. It is a multifaceted space that congregates the best Setúbal has to offer.

The promotion, advertising and selling of reference products of the municipality, such as cheese, wines and sweets is one of the focus of this space that includes a wine area in which 36 producers of the region are represented. It also features a gourmet store with cheeses and traditional patisserie.

On the outside, in one of the many building outdoor areas, a leisure and show zone was created. Through the glass floor is possible to observe archaeological remains found on site during the preparation phase of the remodelling works. Some of those findings are exhibited in an archaeological museum created for such purpose.

The cloisters, a totally covered area, work as a winter garden, a space dedicated to social and leisure moments and fit for small cultural events.

Casa da Baía, the guestroom of the region of Setúbal, also features a gallery and the Municipal Tourism Office. It has ATM and wi-fi.
