Set on a hill high above Mértola, this restaurant specializes on local traditional cuisine and is known for its game dishes - wild boar, red-legged partridge, hare – and use of local produce. Açorda de perdiz (bread soup with partridge), red-legged partridge escabeche, wild boar stew and migas are some of the menu’s highlights. The wine list has a wide variety of Alentejo labels and includes all the producers from Mértola. O Brasileiro is certified by the Alentejo Tourism Board (Turismo do Alentejo).
