  • It was transplanted from the Herdade Vale Paus, near the village of Serpa, around the year 1958, by the Pulido Garcia, a forester native of this village. This olive tree is contemporary of Christ and should have 2,000 years. It serves as ornament to the statue of Abbot Correia da Serra, renowned botanist and diplomat also born in Serpa.
