A specimen of holm oak with great symbolism and devotion. It is traditionally linked to the apparitions of our Lady of Fátima. Is mentioned in many primitive documents regarding the apparitions with the name of "Azinheira Grande" (large holm), because the pilgrims would seek shelter under its shade, to recite the rosary, before the apparitions. This tree, not having been, in itself, a place of apparitions, reason why it is not considered a sacred tree, has the value of being a witness to the apparitions of 1917.
